iTunes Alternative Encoders
I’ve released a new version of my iTunes Ogg Vorbis Script. This version includes support for iTunes 7 and compilations. I’ve also added support for LAME. The package has been renamed to iTunes Alternative Encoders. Head over here to get the new version.

Is there an alternative? I have been using iTunes for approx 1 year. I was very happy with it. Has anybody failed in installing the new 7.0 into XP? After you agree to the terms an error appears (-200). Do I really have to pay for the download? Please advise and thanks.

Hey Jim, I’m not sure what the problem is with the installation on Windows. Make sure to deinstall the old version and make sure you’re running with administrator privileges when installing iTunes. My iTunes Alternative Encoders scripts are only available for Mac OS X and only provide additional audio encoders that aren’t available in iTunes directly.

I just got my 2000t and all of my songs are skipping in iTunes, and I cant figure out why. If someone could help me out and tell me how to fix this I would really appreciate it because its driving me crazy. Thanks for the replys.

Silas, there seem to be problems with iTunes 7 on Windows.
